オスティア・ジャパン衣がまず京都に根をおろし、今年には福岡パルコ店が生まれ、ここまで長い時間を紡(つむ）いできました。
はじまりのブランドは「衣」
これまで作ってきたデザインは、いったい幾つになるのだろう。
オリジナルで染めあげた生地は幾つあるだろう。
職人を困らせながら出来あがった素材は幾つあるだろう。
時代の変化や技術の進歩による、合理的と言われるものへの容赦ない転換を迫られる現代。
今までに用いた素材の中には、もう手にする事ができない生地もあります。
そんな衣の歴史である生地達…
大切に、大切に、少しずつ残してきた生地達。
また日本の歴史の中で大切にされてきた古い時代の布も私たちの宝物。
今回、そんな生地達を継いで継いで服を仕立ててみました。
布地を継(つ)いで、あなたと衣を繋(つな)ぐ。
つなげて、つなぐ。
皆様と衣のご縁を繋ぐ作品達。
