春は全ての草花が次々と芽吹き、花々が色とりどり咲き乱れ、万物が清々しい美しさに満たされます。百花繚乱のこの素晴らしい時期に、牡丹柄を藍プリントで表現しました。
藍の顔料で手刷り印刷された牡丹の花の色合いは、インクの青と違い、何処か透明感があり澄んだ色。生地色にあわせたプリントカラーとのコントラストが、「白×藍色」は正しくジャパンブルーの言葉に相応しく、なぜか心つかまれるコントラストです。
「衣」からは清涼感のある生地表情と、着心地の良さ、そのどちらも得られる事が特徴的な綿麻素材で仕立てた定番的なアイテム七分袖シャツを。
「主衣」からは誰にも愛され続ける人気素材、ジンバブエコットンで仕立てたTシャツを。
生地色の違いが藍の染料との重なることで、双方ともにそれぞれの良さを引き出す色になりました。
