その炎はいま、牡丹をも焼き尽くすほどの力となり、背中に咲き誇る花を燃え上がらせています。
赤や橙の糸が織りなす刺繍は、光を受けて揺らめき、まるで布の上で炎が生きているかのよう。

彼岸（ひがん）と此岸（しがん）。
二つの世界を行き来して、さまよう様に重ねる逢瀬は、儚くも幽艶な美しさを放ちます。
燃え立つ牡丹に包まれたその姿は、消えることのない恋の炎を象徴しています。

The “nen” (yearning spirit) of Otsuyu, spoken of in the first chapter.
Her longing to meet her beloved turned into a flame, dwelling within the lantern’s light.
Now, that flame has grown powerful enough to consume even the peony, setting ablaze the flowers that bloom proudly upon her back.
The embroidery, woven from threads of red and orange, shimmers in the light, flickering as though real flames are alive upon the fabric.
At the center of the back are depicted Otsuyu and Shinza-burō.
The Other Shore and This Shore.
Their fleeting rendezvous, drifting between two worlds, radiates a beauty at once ephemeral and haunting.
Enveloped in the blazing peonies, their figures symbolize an undying flame of love.
Each stitch carries her passion, transforming the embroidery into more than mere decoration—it becomes a “story to be worn.”
