神前挙式をはじめ、花嫁の晴れ姿を華やかに彩ってきた「打掛」鶴や松などの吉祥文様、きらめく金糸の刺繍、大胆で鮮やかな色遣い――。
人生の大切な節目のためにつくられた美しい打掛を、その役目を終えたあとも、もう一度誰かに袖を通してもらいたい。
そんな想いから「衣」では、アンティークの打掛けを一着一着仕立て直し、「スカジャン」という新たな姿へと生まれ変わらせました。

At last, starting tonight at midnight, our one-of-a-kind “Uchikake Sukajan,” each carefully remade from an antique uchikake, will be available for an exclusive pre-release on our online shop!
The uchikake is a traditional Japanese bridal robe that has long adorned brides on their special day, including at Shinto wedding ceremonies.
Auspicious motifs such as cranes and pine trees, shimmering gold-thread embroidery, and bold, vibrant colors—
These beautiful uchikake were created to celebrate some of life’s most precious milestones.
Even after they have fulfilled their original purpose, we wanted these beautiful garments to be worn and cherished once again.
With this thought in mind, Koromo carefully reworks each antique uchikake, giving it new life in the form of a “Sukajan” jacket.
Every piece is different—from the base color and weave of the fabric to the motifs that adorn it.
No two are alike. Every jacket is truly one of a kind.
A garment that once graced someone’s special day now travels through time to become a piece that brings color to someone else’s everyday life.
Because each jacket is made from an antique uchikake, only a limited number can be created. And once a particular piece is gone, you may never encounter the same pattern again.
