【五つの色の縁起物】ご案内その２【 Five colors of treasures 】2019.06.28
緑、黄色、赤、白、紫。
日本の文化にも携わり、それそのものが「厄除け」の意味合いも持つ五つの色。
そのそれぞれに柄を落とし込んだ、衣流「縁起もの」Tシャツ。
一体どんな柄、そしてそこにはどんな意味がこめられているのか、ご紹介してまいりましょう。
季節では春、方角では東をあらわす「緑」に落とし込まれたのは「ヤタガラス」。
天照大神の使いともされ、熊野三山で特に信仰されています。諸願成就や五穀豊穣などの御利益があるそうです。
サッカー日本代表のユニフォームにも描かれていますね。

続いて「黄色」。季節は土用、方角では中央を表すこの色には、四神の一つとしても有名な「龍」の柄を。
古来より水（雨）を操るもの、水神として崇められていました。
稲作文化の日本では、雨は天からの恵み。龍神にむけて雨乞いをするなど、信仰の対象となったのも頷けますね。
また、現代では開運の象徴ともされています。

ちなみに、なじみのない漢字ですが「鷺」は「さぎ」と読みます。白い鷺…そう、白い…サギ、です…。

京都・賀茂神社の紋でもあり、毎年五月には葵祭りが行われるのでご存知かと思います。

葵は古来「あふひ」と呼ばれ「神をもてなす日」という意味があるそうですよ。

柄はおなじみ「鯰」。日本では昔から「大津絵」「鯰絵」などの錦絵となって庶民の間では地震避けとされていました。
鹿島神宮には、地震を起こす大鯰を封じ込めたとされる「要石」があることも有名ですね。
