五色 -Goshiki-"Five colors -Goshiki-"2016.06.16
– 五色（ごしき）-
日本文化には七夕の短冊、鯉のぼりの吹き流し、さらには大相撲の土俵上、屋根からは東西南北にそれぞれ別の色の房が垂れ下がっていたりと、五つの色で形作られるものが多くあります。
その五つの色には「五行（木・火・土・金・水）」や、「五方（東・南・土用・秋・冬）」といったものと結びつきがあり、魔除けの意味が込められていたりする、たいへん由縁深い色数が「五色」なのです。
このたび、オスティア・ジャパン衣では、着心地の良いジンバブエコットンを用い、“夏を彩る衣の五色”に染め上げて、それぞれに異なる柄を入れたTシャツをご用意いたしました。
左から「波に蓮」「霞に鯉」「霞に龍」「菊に金魚」「葵に燕」。
どの柄も五色にあわせ、作られたものばかり。 ５作品の中には、6月18日(土)に取り行われます「京都ミステリーバスツアー」の中でも由縁深いあのモチーフが使われているものも存在しています。
バスツアーにご参加いただきます皆さまも、ご不参加の皆さまも、衣がお届けする特別な“五色”をお楽しみくださいませ。

There are a lot of things of five colors in Japanese culture.
Five colors have another relation to five kinds.
For example…
The five elements – metal, wood, water, fire and earth –
The Gohou – east, the south, the dog days, autumn, winter –
Five expressions are meanings of the talismans against evil.
It is the number of the colors with the affinity very much.
We made the T-shirt which colored summer as KOROMO’s Goshiki.
The T-shirt expresses a different pattern every color.
