友禅染めとひとくくりに呼ばれる染色技術も、細かく掘り下げれば古くからの着物文化で培った多くの技法がある。手描き友禅もその１つです。
オスティア・ジャパン衣では、そんな友禅作家達に日本の良いものを作り続けてもらい、また日本の沢山の人たちに実際に身につけてもらいたくて、オリジナル作品を作ってもらってきました。
伝統工芸士の中野幸一氏もそのお一人です。
着物は分業制で作られる物が多いのですが、自身の感性を素直に布へ落とし込むため、中野幸一氏は全ての染色工程をお一人で作られる作家。
一珍友禅という技法を用いた作品が有名で、一珍友禅とは澱粉に石灰を混ぜた一珍糊を用いて生地に染めつけを行う昔ながらの友禅染めの技法。
ある時期に、細い糸目を引いて染めることができる友禅染が台頭してきたころに、一度は廃れてしまったと言われるこの技法を、京都で今も続ける作家なのです。
友禅の糊が考案される以前からある技法で古代友禅ともよばれます。その一珍友禅作品の１つがこちら。
そんな中野幸一氏に主衣の作品に落とし込む生地を染めてもらいました。
長く広げた生地を張り、空に浮かべた状態で下書きを入れ、少しずつ色を付けていきます。
そうして幾多もの工程を経て染め上げられた大きな大輪の牡丹や、
輪郭をぼかすように染められた金魚、九谷焼にみられる独特な牡丹柄も。
出来あがった生地をならべ、柄に適したデザインを考え縫いあげた全てが１点物の作家作品を、オンラインショップにてお披露目、新年１月１日より販売をいたします。

・大阪生まれ。
・20代にデザイン会社にてデザイナーを務める。
・1982年 友禅作家・田村信之氏に師事
・1990年 独立「染空間彩幸庵」設立
・2006年 京友禅伝統工芸士認定
・2009年 京都国際会議場で行われた「ファッションカンタータ From KYOTO」出展
●京都彩芸美術協同組合理事などを務め、これまでも数々の賞を受賞してきた。
修行時代、人間国宝羽田登喜男先生に一珍糊の技術的アドバイスをいただく。
それを機に現在の彩、一珍染の形を作りだすことができた。
Yuzen process is one of the Japanese traditional dyeing methods.
Yuzen-dyed fabrics are traditional craft in Kyoto and tachnique devised by painter Yuzensai Miyazaki in Genroku Era of Edo period. White silk clothes are painted and dyed, then finally used to be washed in the Kamo River in Kyoto.The full Yuzen are comprised of as many as 26 processes and elaborate.
“About Japanese style clothing, dyed kimono and textil obi are said to be the highest grade.
They mean Yuzen-dyed kimono and silk obi brocaded at Nishijin area in Kyoto.
Our product has the picture which a Yuzen process writer draws.
Koichi Nakano is a writer of the Yuzen process.
Koichi Nakano is a writer making all dyeing processes alone.
It is the dyeing method called the Ittin yuzen which is rare in a Yuzen process.
The Ittin yuzen is traditional technique to dye to cloth with the paste which mixed lime with starch.
The technique of a new Yuzen process has come up once.
At that time, as for the Ittin yuzen, a writer disappeared once.
He revivifies the technique and am still the writer who continues being active in Kyoto.
For technique before the paste of the present Yuzen process is thought about, another name is an ancient Yuzen.
One of the works is this.
We had Koichi Nakano dye cloth.
It forms on the state that he opens cloth for a long time first and floated on the air.
And He acquires a color little by little after drafting it.
A pretty popular goldfish.
The big peony which he dyed after many processes.
A peony pattern peculiar to a ceramic called the Japanese Kutani chinaware.
Those cloth was passed through by the design which adapted to a pattern.
We sell it in an online shop from January 1 in the New Year.
The same thing can never make the products.
