4月はグラテーションが綺麗なストールで登場したカレンダー作品！
さてさて5月は一体どんなアイテムで登場するのか？
5月のカレンダー柄は「葵祭」
爽やかな初夏の京都を優雅な行列で彩る葵祭。
今から約1500年前に始まったとされる賀茂御祖神社（下鴨神社）と賀茂別雷神社（上賀茂神社）の例祭です。
5月初旬からさまざまな行事（前儀）が行われ5月15日には、およそ8キロもの距離を、平安装束をまとった人々が練り歩く「路頭の儀」が開催されます。
その様子は平安絵巻さながら！
そして行列のなかで、ひときわ目を引く乗り物が「御所車-ごしょぐるま-」と呼ばれている牛車。
薄紫色の藤の花の装飾を揺らしながら、車輪を回してゆっくり進みます。

ジンバブエコットン生地のTシャツに
菖蒲が生い茂った隙間から、平安衣装に身を包んだ妖怪が御所車を引き出てきています！
ここからぞろぞろと、行列が続いていくのでしょうか？

So, what kind of items will be in May?
The calendar pattern for May is “Aoi Matsuri Festival”.
The Aoi-matsuri Festival features an elegant procession through Kyoto in early summer.
It is an annual festival of Shimogamo-jinja Shrine and Kamigamo-jinja Shrine that is said to have started about 1500 years ago.
Various events (maegi) are held from the beginning of May, and on May 15,
The “Roto no gi” is held with people wearing Heian costumes parading for a distance of about eight kilometers.
It looks like a Heian picture scroll!
The vehicle that stands out in the procession is the gissha called ‘Goshoguruma.
While shaking the decoration of wisteria flowers, slowly walking.

This is a Zimbabwean cotton T-shirt.
A yokai dressed in Heian costume is pulling a Goshoguruma through a gap covered with iris.
It will be on sale at each koromo store and online shop from Sunday, May 1!
