蛙の危機一髪！？ その壱「傷だらけのカエル」 Frog have a close call!?2021.07.21
あれれ？いつもは可愛くて人気者の衣の蛙、今回は少し様子が違うみたい？
糸に縛り付けられ顔や体中傷だらけ！なんだかかわいそうなお姿に、、、。
そんな蛙の眼下には、大きな大きな鯉が沢山泳いでいるではありませんか！？
大きな鯉に見つかり、食いつかれてしまったら蛙は、ひとたまりもありません。
見つからない様、息をひそめます、、、
一体誰がこんな、ひどいことをしているのか？と糸の先を見ると
なんと、犯人は骸骨！
ニヤニヤと笑いながら、糸を垂らしています。
逃げ出さないよう、傷だらけにして鯉を釣りあげようとしたのでしょうか？
それとも、蛙へ「このピンチを抜け出してみろ！」と試練を与えているのか、、、
そんなことを考えていると、鯉が大きな口を開けて蛙を食べようととびかかります。
絶体絶命の蛙！！
果たして蛙の運命は、、、。

夏の夜の風物詩「蛍」The annual ’Firefly’ pattern clothes, which will be is available at each stores!2021.06.18
毎年この時期になると登場する「蛍柄」。
私たちスタッフもこの作品を目にするたびに四季の移り変わりを感じさせられます。
外出もしにくいような、こんな時代でも風流なひと時を感じたいものですね。
さて、注目の作品ですが今年の蛍も幻想的な仕上がりです！
6月の夜の静寂の中、近所の小川で息をひそめて無数に光る蛍を瞬きもせずに見ていたあの日。
そんな子供のころの記憶が蘇るかのような光景が拡がっております！
そんな蛍柄作品はアロハシャツ、ワンピースでも登場、こちらもまた美しい仕上がりに
なっており、楽しみですね！

今回はそんな蛍をより楽しむ為の豆知識を一つ・・・。
「蛍はその生息地域によって光る長さが違う！」
なぜかは、理由がわかっていないみたいですが
同種のゲンジボタルでも地域によって光り方、明滅速度のパターンが異なるそうです。
東日本では4秒間に１回点滅、静岡や山梨西日本では2秒間に１回点滅、長野あたりでは３秒に１回点滅、長崎の五島列島では、1秒間に一回点滅する蛍も最近、発見されたそうです。
さて、衣の蛍は果たしてどのように点滅するでしょうか！？

“Fireflies shine at different lengths depending on their habitat!”
I don’t know why.
I heard that the lighting and blinking speed patterns of Genji fireflies are different
depending on the area.
Flashes once every four seconds in eastern Japan and once every two seconds in Shizuoka, Yamanashi
and western Japan. A firefly blinks once every three seconds in Nagano,
once every second in the five islands of Nagasaki.
It was discovered recently.

藍古布の様な色味に惚れた作品たち！We was fascinated by the color like old indigo!2021.05.28
おまたせいたしました！
インディゴの新作情報の解禁です！！
前回お伝えした通り、お色は「インディゴ」と「青黒」。
「青黒」はインディゴ染めの麻生地の上から顔料を均一に塗布し、さらにその顔料を洗いをかけることで、生地の縮みによる染料の残った部分、落とした部分との濃淡、いわゆるデニムでいうところの“あたり”が生まれます。
その表情がまるで何十年も大切に継がれてきた「藍古布」のような渋い藍色に！
そんな色味に惚れ込みできた作品がこちらです！！
「花時乱芥子Vネックワンピース」
「花時乱芥子オープンカラーシャツ」
柄は「芥子」を“抜染(ばっせん)”と“手振り刺繍”で、ワンピースは前身頃に、オープンカラーシャツは後身頃に、迫力満点に表現されております！
どちらか一方に柄がある事で、生地の表情もよりわかりやすく、更に着こむことで、あたりなど経年変化により自分だけの一枚として育てる楽しみも。
ワンピースは膝下の丈感で、一枚だけでゆったりと着られるので、これからの季節にいいですね♪

オスティア・ジャパン衣の各店、およびオンラインショップでは、「金魚づくし」と題し、夏らしい金魚柄の作品の数々で店頭が彩られております！
初夏にもお似合いの金魚達の中には、完売作品もありますが追加制作が決定しているものもございますので、
再入荷のその時を楽しみにお待ちくださいませ♪
そして今週末5月29日(土)には、明るい色みの金魚達と反対に、経年変化が楽しみな重厚さのあるインディゴ作品が登場いたします！
染めを幾度か重ねる特殊な加工を施した表情、麻100％ながら、特有のチクチクとした肌触りもなく、着心地のよいサラリとした生地を使った新作になります。
お色は「インディゴ」と「青黒」。
「青黒」の色はインディゴ染めの麻生地に、さらに顔料を染め付けてあり、表面の余分な顔料を洗い落とすことで、その見た目はまるで、蔵の中から掘り出してきたかのような藍古布のごとく渋い藍色に。
ここからさらに着こむことで、本当の藍古布にも見紛う色に育ててあげて下さい！
そしてアロハシャツは、衣の定番ボタンの中の１つである「竹」の衣釦を使い、染めを施したことで良い感じにインディゴが染め着いた、この作品ならではの釦と姿を変えました。
さてさて、そんな作品たちですが、どんな柄が入っているのか、少しだけお見せいたします！！
どうやら抜染と刺繍で表現されているみたいですね、、、。
