【五つの色の縁起物】ご案内その２【 Five colors of treasures 】2019.06.28
緑、黄色、赤、白、紫。
日本の文化にも携わり、それそのものが「厄除け」の意味合いも持つ五つの色。
そのそれぞれに柄を落とし込んだ、衣流「縁起もの」Tシャツ。
一体どんな柄、そしてそこにはどんな意味がこめられているのか、ご紹介してまいりましょう。
季節では春、方角では東をあらわす「緑」に落とし込まれたのは「ヤタガラス」。
天照大神の使いともされ、熊野三山で特に信仰されています。諸願成就や五穀豊穣などの御利益があるそうです。
サッカー日本代表のユニフォームにも描かれていますね。
●「熊野三山のヤタガラス半袖Tシャツ」
続いて「黄色」。季節は土用、方角では中央を表すこの色には、四神の一つとしても有名な「龍」の柄を。
古来より水（雨）を操るもの、水神として崇められていました。
稲作文化の日本では、雨は天からの恵み。龍神にむけて雨乞いをするなど、信仰の対象となったのも頷けますね。
また、現代では開運の象徴ともされています。

「赤」は色の持つエネルギーからも想像出来る様に、方角では南、季節では夏を表します。その赤には「白鷺」。
日本武尊が死後に大きな白い鳥となって飛び立った、という伝承から白鷺を祀ったり、また神使とされています。
白色の動物は神の使いとされることも多いですね。
ちなみに、なじみのない漢字ですが「鷺」は「さぎ」と読みます。白い鷺…そう、白い…サギ、です…。

「白」は西、そして秋を表します。
京都・賀茂神社の紋でもあり、毎年五月には葵祭りが行われるのでご存知かと思います。
はたまた、徳川家の家紋、の方がおなじみでしょうか？！「葵」の柄です。
葵という植物は光に向かって伸び育つ＝発展する、とされて縁起がよい文様の一つなのですが、
葵は古来「あふひ」と呼ばれ「神をもてなす日」という意味があるそうですよ。

そして「紫」は北、季節は冬を表します。
柄はおなじみ「鯰」。日本では昔から「大津絵」「鯰絵」などの錦絵となって庶民の間では地震避けとされていました。
鹿島神宮には、地震を起こす大鯰を封じ込めたとされる「要石」があることも有名ですね。

It has been revered as a water god who controls water (rain) since ancient times.
Rain is a blessing from heaven in rice culture culture in Japan. It is also possible to become a target of faith, such as raining for a dragon god.
In addition, in modern times it is also a symbol of good luck.

“Red” represents south in the direction and summer in the season, as can be imagined from the energy of the color. “White heron” in the red.
It is said that it is a priestess or a priest from the tradition that Yamatotakeru took off as a large white bird after death.
White animals are often used as gods’ agents.

“White” represents west and autumn.
It is also the crest of Kyoto and Kamo Shrine, and I think you know it every year since the Aoi festival is held in May.
Are you familiar with the Tokugawa family crest, too? ! It is a pattern of “Aoi(Mulberry Leaf)”.
Mulberry is one of the auspicious patterns that lead to “develop” because it grows and grows towards light.
Since ancient times, Aoi has been called “Afhi” and has the meaning of “day to treat God”.

And “purple” is north and season is winter.
The pattern is familiar “Cat fish”. In Japan, it has long been a common practice to avoid earthquakes among commoners as “Otsu-e” and “Namazu-e”.
It is also famous for Kashima Jingu Shrine to have a “Kanameishi(keystone)” that is said to contain the large boat that causes the earthquake.

色とりどりの五つの色の組み合わせは、鯉のぼりの吹流しや相撲の土俵、神社仏閣など、日本の生活のあらゆる場所で目にすることができます。
この五つの色、ルーツを辿ると古代中国の陰陽五行説という、少ーし難しそうなお話に行き着きます。
そんな日本の文化にも携わるこの五つの色に、五つのモチーフを組み合わせて、夏の必需品である半袖Tシャツをお作りしました。
それぞれの柄には一体どんな意味があるのか…？

“青と白”2色でみせる夏のまといものBlue and white of KOROMO2019.05.17
先日ご案内しました、“青と白”の作品。
いよいよ販売開始となります！
青と白の2色だけで表現したとてもシンプルな作品ですが
その色の組み合わせは、他の配色には出せない存在感を放ちます。
清涼感はもちろんですが、素材やシルエットにもこだわった
衣がつくる、夏のまといものをお楽しみください！
それでは、少しだけ作品をご紹介いたします！
天然染料の「本藍」を使用した“本藍プリント”で柄を表現。
大胆に柄入れされつつも、軽やかで爽やかな作品に仕上がりました。

人々の着物も手ぬぐいも、座布団や店ののれんまで青かった…と、異国人を感嘆させた色
“ジャパンブルー” 「青」
その青を一番きわだててくれるのが「白」
青と白、この2色だけで表現した初夏の作品が登場します！
とてもシンプルながら、仕上がった作品を見ていると
この2色の組み合わせに勝るものは無いのでは！？と思うほど、うっとりと見とれてしまいます。
