「牡丹灯籠」その1 "Peony Lantern"2025.08.25
ただ
ただ、恋をした。
愛しい人に逢いたい、、
その想いを胸に秘め、
焦がれるほどに焼かれ、命は儚く消えてしまった。
この身が消えようとも、私の想いの「炎」は消えなかった。
その炎はやがて「念」となり、
咲き誇る牡丹をも焼き尽くし、灯籠の火へと宿る。
そして、恋焦がれたあなたのもとへと、
カランコロンと駒下駄を鳴らし
ゆらりと揺れる、牡丹の花で飾られた灯籠をかざし
夜の闇を裂いて向かう。
それは、恨みではない。
あなたに逢いたいという「念」、、。
その情念を、衣が宿す。
——この秋、牡丹灯籠の物語を纏うスカジャンが登場します。
Simply,
I fell in love.
With a longing to see the one I hold dear,
I kept that feeling hidden deep within my heart.
Burned by yearning, my life flickered and vanished like mist.
Though I vanished from this world, the flame of my love lingered—unextinguished.
That flame became “nen”—a lingering spirit—
scorching even the blooming peonies,
and dwelling within the lantern’s fire
And so, to see you once more—whom I loved so deeply—
with the sound of wooden clogs echoing karan koron,
I raise a lantern adorned with peony blossoms,
and drift through the darkness of night.
This is not resentment.
It is the “nen”—the pure desire to see you once more.
KOROMO gives form to that passion.
—This autumn, a sukajan embroidered with the tale of the Peony Lantern will arrive.
